The degree programme provides solid specific theoretical, historical, technical and operative skills in performing arts music, arts, visual communication as well as their technological applications. Along with theoretical and philological fundamentals of the history of performing arts and the history of music, the degree programme also provides methods and techniques for texts analysis and multimedia products development.
The educational path offers a dual perspective: acquisition of theoretical, methodological, critical and historical skills in humanities and practical skills in the latest technological innovation products. The degree programme also includes specific course units, workshops and seminars, internships and networking opportunities within the Veneto region. These opportunities help students to develop practical skills in designing and developing multimedia products, including interdisciplinary ones. Furthermore, the degree programme also trains qualified researchers in single disciplines concerning the current communicative strategies and the innovative development of the cultural industry.
The educational offer consists of one curriculum that breaks down into the following activities:
- course units in history of theatre. They focus on the theoretical and methodological approach when studying and analyzing theatrical texts whilst considering the outcome of the performance and its historical, philological, linguistic and performative aspects;
- course units in cinema and multimedia. They address the historical, theoretical, aesthetical, philological, legal and economic aspects of the history of cinema and of the new serial narrative forms. The course units will also enhance products’ designing and development as well as the communication strategies linked to education and training;
- course units concerning the history of music and musicology. They aim at developing skills in cultural, historical, musical and environmental heritage, not only with a philological, critical, analytical and comparative approach, but also through a performative and educational perspective.
