Overview
This Bachelor’s Degree aims at training professionals able to operate in the fields of design, implementation, and management of control systems and more generally in the field of Information Engineering, in the most diverse production and service contexts.
The educational objectives are distinguished by a broad-spectrum methodological training, which starts from the acquisition of knowledges in physical-mathematical and computer science fundamentals, in the field of automation and control systems and more generally in the areas of information engineering technologies and methodologies.
The in-depth knowledge of the basic sciences is fundamental to acquire the necessary knowledge both to interpret and describe engineering problems and to place the solutions in the most diverse operational contexts.

Career opportunities
The professional fields typical of graduates in Information Engineering are all sectors of information technology, such as computer engineering, electronics, the biomedical field, telecommunications and industrial automation. Graduates in Information Engineering can work as innovation managers. and in the development of production, design, planning and programming, and management of systems. Graduates will find employment in small and medium-sized enterprises as well as in public administration.
