Overview
The Master’s degree provides advanced knowledge in the field of agricultural systems as well as skills to develop and manage sustainable production systems located in warm-temperate environments at a global level. The programme explores sustainability of production in all its implications, including both innovative technologies and socio-economic aspects.
Programme structure
1st Year: Agrifood Economics and Policy; Sustainable Agriculture; Agricultural Management of Biogeochemical Cycles; Integrated Management of Arthropod Pests; Plant Breeding; Precision Farming; Soil Microbiology; Advanced Statistics; Sustainable Vegetable Production; Weed Science.
2nd Year: Sustainable Management of Plant Diseases; Crop Physiology; Sustainable Livestock Systems; Sustainable Use of Pesticides; Sustainable Vineyard and Orchard Management; Water Resources Management; Sustainable Agriculture: Perspectives from Abroad; Urban Horticulture, and many other courses in different study plans.
