Overview

The Master’s degree offers a comprehensive, innovative, and international perspective on forest and natural resource management and conservation. The programme provides a thorough understanding of forest ecosystem functioning, skills for sustainable and responsible management of forests and rural landscapes, and the ability to interpret complex socio-ecological systems. It also equips students with the capacity to identify innovative solutions for environmental management, addressing major local and global environmental challenges.

Path 1 – Forest and Land Management: technical profile for management, conservation and valorisation of forests
Path 2 – Forest Conservation and Governance: technical-economic profile in governance of forests and natural ecosystems

Career opportunities

Graduates work in public and private institutions as forest planners and managers in the field of sustainable management of forests, natural and semi-natural habitats, land management and protection, landscape management, use and valorisation of forest resources and ecosystems services, nationally or internationally.
