Overview
This programme prepares professionals who are able to describe engineering problems for land protection, to set up and conduct experiments by analysing and interpreting observed data and to understand the impact of engineering solutions to society and the environment. Furthermore, graduates in environmental engineering collaborate on the design of components, systems, and processes of environmental remediation, as well as interventions for soil and land protection and environmental preservation.

Career opportunities
Graduates in environmental engineering will be involved in control and monitoring systems of the land and the environment, waste collection and treatment, environmental remediation, operation of gas and water supply systems, assessment of environmental impacts and compatibility of plans and facilities.
