Overview
The programme provides knowledge in the main disciplines fundamental to operate in the area of social and human services (sociology, law, economics, pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, history and more). Students acquire professional, communicative and relational skills useful to read, understand and intervene in situations of the social needs involving individuals, families, and communities as well as to promote their well-being.
Career opportunities
After obtaining the degree and passed the State examination, graduates will be able to work as social workers within the public (e.g. local health authorities or municipalities), private and third sector service, as well as self-employed professionals.
