Overview
This programme prepares for professions in which communication plays a critical practical role: from public and business communication to advertising, from communications theory to critical areas in the current information society.
Students will gain basic competences, including those regarding new technologies, and specific abilities in different sectors; they will also learn to carry out professional tasks in the media, in public administration, in the cultural industry, in the corporate world and in the service and consumer sector. Students will also learn the necessary skills to carry out communication activities and any other activities involving communication with the public in private companies, public bodies and not-for-profit organisations. They will also develop the necessary skills to write texts for different media sectors and in public and private bodies.
Career opportunities
Research conducted by the degree course shows that our graduates can work especially in communication and marketing areas, advertising and information and in the publishing sector. Occupations include marketing and communication specialists, working in press and public relations office; social and business communication, event organizers, copywriters, web content editors.
